After 8+ years in the business as a photographer and educator based in Southern California, Emily felt it was time to upgrade her brand and web experience to reflect the clarity she’s gained over the years as an artist.
We wanted to elevate her branding and website in a way that felt in alignment with the high-end client experience she offers, while staying true to the raw, human quality that remains at the core of her work. With this in mind, we drew from her own imagined concept of everyone being the star of their own indie film — her brand marks and type treatments are a nod to title cards, the excerpt on her homepage scrolls through like end credits and featured moments throughout can be seen as collections of vignettes. Her logo became the marriage between elegant and approachable, while the overall color story was inspired by the warmth and nostalgia that the Californian coast represents for both of us.

Taylor is an Oregon-based film & digital wedding and lifestyle photographer serving clients all along the West Coast. It was so important for us to create a space that felt true to her core mission & the heart behind her approach: preserving the honest & tangible and capturing the beauty of life’s most intimate moments. We wanted to create a pared-back brand experience that still felt intentional in every detail and allowed Taylor’s gift & intuitive approach to shine through.
Her logo embraces a subtle organic quality that feels both authentic and trustworthy through a no frills sans-serif font with unexpected custom quirks inspired by hand-lettering. We introduced a color palette, curated typography and layouts that are reminiscent of aged paper and editorial treatments. Through subtle details like these, we were able to design a digital home for her that represents her core goal as a photographer: to capture raw emotions in the most tangible, honest way.

A talented artist, visionary and creative genius, Alex truly pushes the boundaries of beauty using flowers as her chosen medium. Alex and I met during a transitional time in her journey as a creative; once a new name for her studio was decided, our goal was to flip her current brand identity on its head and create a totally new experience to honor this evolution. A departure from her former earthy, boho-inspired brand identity as Urban Canyon Floristry, her new logo is heavily inspired by the organic, sculptural shapes of her floral designs and juxtaposed with exaggerated curves and contrasting sharp lines. Her color palette supports this concept of the unexpected by blending neutral tones with a bold splash of chartreuse.
With these roots established, her custom website needed to carry through this core idea of embracing the “bold and unexpected.” Through tiny details spread throughout and a hidden interactive experience, we designed a web experience that encourages creative freedom & exploration in the hopes of leaving you inspired to “make your mark.”

We built a custom Squarespace website for Linh that served as her digital home for styling advice, shoppable looks, and reflections on life, motherhood & more.
Drawing inspiration from the streets of New York and her love for fashion, we explored the balance between elegance and grit, clean grids and layered collage, sophisticated luxury and approachable warmth. With a shared love for minimalism, our goal was to create a clean, editorial-inspired experience that felt aspirational yet accessible — a space for her audience to peruse curated pieces while dreaming up their own capsule wardrobe. As an influencer in fashion, Linh needed a central hub to share her recent looks – and because we wanted the overall look to feel ultra elevated, we custom built a “Shop My Looks” feature that seamlessly blended with the rest of her website and was just as easy to update.

Alexandra, the founder of Digital Brand Stylist, came to me hoping to refine her brand identity in a way that felt intentional, stylish and approachable—an experience that makes her audience feel taken care of and inspired by her creativity. For her logo, we opted for a customized typeface with organic elements that felt timeless yet contemporary and fresh. There's a femininity in the delicate, sleek weight of the font, but the flared edges give it a unique edge. We incorporated waves into the “A” to create subtle movement and add visual interest. Her submarks and brand elements further embrace this organic, custom feel through the slight imperfections in strokes and the handwritten name. The sea shell icon is a nod to her former brand mark where the organic, hand-drawn strokes are inspired by the beautiful ceramic shells that she collects.
For her color palette, we assembled a blend of warm tones inspired by fine gold jewelry (her clients) and cooler coastal tones (her East Coast roots). To bring in a touch of femininity, we brought in a playful periwinkle shade and to contrast that is a deep, warm espresso that feels grounding and elevated.

Formerly known as Jesse Kay Photography, Jesse came to me at a time where she felt her old brand no longer served her. Our goal was to design an elevated brand experience that showcased her evolution & growth into the creative she is now.
Through further conversations and a deeper exploration into her “why”, we uncovered the core idea behind her approach and, coincidentally, her new tagline: “celebrating the un-done moments.” This provided the foundation for a brand that feels luxe yet laidback and an elegant logo injected with personality and edge.

Lola came to me wanting to create a new brand identity that felt more aligned with The Brand Doula’s high-quality services and a completely restructured web experience that reflected the professional agency format the studio was growing into.
